Cookie Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device to help websites provide a better user experience. At Fresh Idea Hub, we use cookies to streamline your access to our Learning Resources Center and improve site functionality.
2. How We Use Cookies
We primarily use necessary cookies for core website functionality, such as maintaining session states when you access protected facilitator toolkits or pre-reading materials. We also use analytical cookies to understand how visitors engage with our content, allowing us to continuously refine our digital presence.
3. Types of Cookies We Use
- Essential Cookies: Required for basic site operation and secure access to client portals.
- Performance Cookies: Used to gather anonymous data on site performance and user navigation paths to optimize our digital architecture.
- Functionality Cookies: Remember your preferences (such as language or region) to provide a more tailored experience.
4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
You can control and/or delete cookies as you wish. You can delete all cookies that are already on your computer and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. However, if you do this, you may have to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit our site, and some services and functionalities may not work.
5. Cookie Duration
Session cookies used to keep a facilitator toolkit unlocked while you browse expire automatically when you close your browser. Performance and functionality cookies that remember your preferences between visits are retained for up to 12 months, after which you will be prompted to confirm your settings again.
6. Third-Party Cookies
Where our Insights and Resources pages embed third-party content (for example, an analytics tag used to understand which curriculum topics generate the most interest), that provider may set its own cookies subject to its own privacy practices. We select analytics partners that support IP anonymization and do not permit cross-site advertising profiling on our domain.
7. Your Consent
By continuing to browse the Fresh Idea Hub website after being presented with this notice, you consent to our use of cookies as described above. You may withdraw consent for non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings; essential cookies required for basic site security cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality.
8. Updates to This Cookie Policy
As our Learning Resources Center and facilitator tools evolve, the categories of cookies we rely on may change. We will update the Effective Date above whenever we make a material change, and where required by law we will seek renewed consent.
9. Browser-Level Controls
In Chrome and Edge, cookie settings live under Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies; in Safari, under Preferences > Privacy; in Firefox, under Settings > Privacy & Security. Blocking essential cookies site-wide may prevent facilitator toolkit access from persisting across pages during a single browsing session.
10. Do Not Track
There is no settled industry standard for how websites should respond to a browser's Do Not Track signal, and this site does not currently alter its cookie behavior based on that signal. We instead aim to keep the categories of cookies we set to the minimum needed to run the Learning Resources Center.
11. Relationship to Participant Data
Cookies described in this policy are distinct from the assessment and 360-degree feedback data described in our Privacy Policy. Cookies never carry personally identifiable learning-outcome data; that information is transmitted and stored through our secured Learning Management System, not through browser cookies.
